Established in 1970, Island Snow is a surf fashion and shave ice shop.

It is famous as the favorite shave ice spot that former President Obama visits during his vacations!

The fluffy ice melts smoothly in your mouth just like snow, and you can enjoy various flavors with a wide variety of syrups.

There are two stores in Kailua, and they are always bustling with locals.

It is the perfect shop to visit while strolling in town or after playing at the beach, so please stop by if you have the chance!

Recommended Shave Ice at Island Snow

The shave ice includes three types of syrup and one scoop of ice cream.

You can also choose syrups made from 100% Hawaiian natural ingredients or add toppings for an additional fee.

There are 24 classic syrup flavors and 12 natural ones, with an extra charge for each natural flavor.

There are two sizes, “Keiki” (child size) and “Large,” but the Keiki size is plenty big enough for most people!

By the way, the combination of Kona coffee and coconut for a Hawaiian vibe, or fruit flavors like lilikoi, guava, and mango are recommended.

Popular Brands at Island Snow

Actually, Island Snow is also a stylish select shop.

They carry their own original brand items as well as popular brands like The North Face and Stussy. They also sell Patagonia products at the same prices as the two Patagonia stores in Hawaii.

They handle limited edition items and collaboration items for each brand, so you can check out the latest fashion.

Since it is a small shop, items may be out of stock sometimes, but you can often find great deals, so be sure to check it out!
