Here are simple directions from Nanakuli Beach to help you find your way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the Nanakuli Beach parking lot, walk with the public restrooms and showers on your left and the beach on your right. You will see a rocky area in front of you with many memorial stones. Continue along the coast, keeping to the left through this rocky area. After walking along the coast for about 2-3 minutes, you will see a house on your left with a large grassy yard (there is a “No Trespassing” sign). Just before this grassy area, you’ll find a hole in the ground about 2 meters in diameter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At first glance, you might wonder where the beach is, but this hole is actually the entrance to the Mermaid Caves, and you can jump into the water from here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It truly feels like a secret beach where a mermaid might hide!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Note that the drop is about 2.5 meters (about 8 feet), so while you can jump down, climbing back up is very difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
