The first is when a car is sticking out into the roadway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can get a ticket even if your mirror is slightly sticking out into the road, so make sure to park securely without blocking the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The other reason is that the roads around Lanikai Beach are narrow, but they are not actually one-way, so it is a parking violation if the car is parked facing the opposite direction of traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Basically, on a two-way street, you must park your car in the direction of traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, there are places where you are not allowed to park, such as within about 5 meters from a corner or at residential entrances, so please check these carefully if you are going by rental car!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Access Lanikai Beach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aloalotravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/lanikai-beach-5.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21156\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since this is a place people often visit on their own from Kailua Town, I would like to explain the access methods to Lanikai Beach in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are four main ways to get there: walking, bus, Uber, and bicycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It takes about 45 minutes one way on foot, about 15 minutes by electric bicycle, about 20 minutes by regular bicycle, and about 10 minutes by bus or Uber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By Foot or Bicycle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kailua Road \u2192 Turn left at the intersection with Wanao Road and go north \u2192 Turn right when you hit Kailua Beach \u2192 Go along Alala Road and take the left fork where the Lanikai Monument is \u2192 As you follow the road, you will see small sandy paths on your left, so turn into the 3rd to 6th ones \u2192 Go through the sandy path!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are actually about 10 paths in total, but paths other than the 3rd to 6th ones do not have a sandy beach at the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They do connect to the beach, so they are full of a private feel, but the ones with a sandy beach are recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By TheBus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take bus number 671 from the bus stop in front of Kailua Shopping Center, and you will arrive at the nearest bus stop (Aalapapa Dr + Kaelepulu Dr) in about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By the way, you also get off at this bus stop if you are heading to the Lanikai Pillbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After getting off, walk towards the ocean for about 3 minutes and you will arrive at Lanikai Beach!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By Uber<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is the easiest, and all you have to do is enter &#8220;Lanikai Beach&#8221;
