The only downside is that it’s in an area that’s a bit difficult to access, but it’s definitely worth the trip.

This restaurant is actually located within a U.S. military recreation facility called the Pililaau Army Recreation Center.
Therefore, civilians need to show an ID at the entrance to get in.
Residents can show a valid ID such as a driver’s license, and tourists will need to present their passports.
Since this area of the West Coast isn’t known for being the safest, this actually adds a sense of security.
Additionally, it’s open every day with long hours, making it easy to visit anytime.

Since the main attraction is the stunning ocean view right at your doorstep, the menu isn’t extensive, and frankly, the prices and food are pretty standard.
It’s basically a typical spot for plate lunches, burgers, and fish dishes.
The beer and wine are more of a highlight, being well-priced, so it’s more common to enjoy the place with some pupus (appetizers) and drinks!
The menu changes between lunch and dinner, but there aren’t any specific signature dishes, so it’s best to just order whatever you’re in the mood for.

A classic at any seaside restaurant: Fish & Chips.
They’re easy to share, the portions are generous, and the price is right.
And another local favorite, the Calamari (fried squid).
