Kukaniloko Birth Stones

Kukaniloko Birth Stones is Hawaii’s most famous sacred site for prayers for safe childbirth.
Because Hawaiian royalty formerly used this place for childbirth, it is said to grant blessings for safe delivery and fertility.
It is believed that this area possesses a mysterious spiritual power (Mana) that eases the pain of childbirth.
Based on the legend that it was actually used for about 700 years from the 11th to the 18th century, it gradually became a topic of interest among those wishing to be blessed with children.
Since this is a very important place for Native Hawaiians, please strictly follow the rules of visitation and observe proper etiquette when visiting.

Puu O Mahuka Heiau

Puu O Mahuka Heiau is the remains of the largest temple from the Hawaiian Kingdom era.
A Heiau is a sanctuary constructed by ancient Hawaiians, and it is said that mysterious powers reside there!
Although only traces of the stone walls and floors remain today, in the past, Tiki statues stood on magnificent pedestals, and ceremonies to pray for victory in war were conducted here.
Designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1965, it remains a place of faith for the people of Hawaii, with offerings still being presented at the altar.
Despite being the largest Heiau on Oahu, it is quite a hidden gem, so if you like spiritual spots, please be sure to visit.

Pohaku Lanai

Pohaku Lanai is a legendary rock that has existed on the North Shore since the era of the indigenous people.
Pohaku Lanai literally translates to “Stone Veranda,” but since the formal name might not ring a bell, it is often referred to by its nicknames.
Incidentally, the most famous common name is Balance Rock. It is also called Bell Rock because it resembles the shape of a bell, or Hamburger Rock because it looks like a hamburger.
While it has many names, Pohaku Lanai is actually one of Hawaii’s leading spiritual spots, known as a sacred rock!
It also became famous because baseball star Shohei Ohtani visited it and it was featured on television.
Access is good as it is close to Haleiwa Town, making it a popular spot you can easily stop by.
Laie Point

Laie Point is a sacred cape where the legend of a giant lizard remains.
In fact, it is famous in Hawaii as a power spot harboring special energy.
It is said that standing on this cape, feeling the waves rushing from the open sea and the pure sea breeze, allows you to feel refreshed and filled with exhilaration in body and mind.
While the area around Laie on the North Shore generally has gentle sandy beaches due to the terrain, this cape alone is a protruding rocky area. It is easily affected by waves, making it a spectacular point with very intense waves during the winter season.
The Laie area is a Mormon town, so please be aware that on Sundays, not only neighboring shops but also beach parking lots are closed!
Waimea Valley

Waimea Valley is a botanical garden where you can experience Hawaiian history and indigenous culture.
On the North Shore, where you can enjoy the great outdoors, casual trekking to explore wild birds and nature is popular here!
It has been a filming location for numerous movies and dramas, including LOST, and overwhelmingly magnificent nature expands as far as the eye can see.
It is also famous as a spiritual spot because it is a nature park with many endemic species of Hawaiian trees and birds.
By the way, “Waimea Beach” is right nearby, offering crystal clear waters in the summer season and giant waves in the winter season, so be sure to check that out as well.
